Why can’t I edit user details?

If you find that the Add User and Import Users features are disabled, then you cannot make manual changes to the employees in your organization. This is usually because your organization is configured to automatically ingest employee data from an external source, typically your Identity Provider or your User Management System. This external source is the master record of employees in your organization, and manual changes within the command centre would cause conflict with future synchronization.

Note: Synchronization of users from an external system is implemented either via the regular delivery of a user CSV import file to our Secure FTP Servers, or via an special API Integration known as SCIM.
